NovoPen® 4 is a reusable pen and is designed to simplify insulin administration.

  • Before using NovoPen® 4, please refer to the instruction manual that comes with each pack. The instruction manual for the NovoPen® 4 describes how to use, store and clean it.
  • NovoPen® 4 is available in two colours: blue and grey, giving the user the option of using different colours for each type of insulin.
  • NovoPen® 4 is easy to use. Allows dosing in the range of 1 to 60 units with an accuracy of 1 unit.
  • NovoPen® 4 is designed for use with Penfill® 3ml insulin cartridges and NovoFine® 6 mm and 8 mm disposable needles.

Follow the instructions for use provided with each pack when using the NovoPen® 4. NovoPen® 4 should only be used with appropriate products that ensure its safe and proper operation.

Like other pens, it can only be used for one insulin preparation. If you are taking more than one insulin preparation, you should have an appropriate number of pens. Each Novo Nordisk pen (regardless of type) is a personal device and can only be used by one patient.

You will receive the pen directly from your doctor in your doctor's office or hospital ward.
