Security
The GIOfast non-contact thermometer is a certified medical device that enables accurate and safe measurement of body temperature in adults and children. A high level of safety is ensured by modern infrared reception technology.
The non-contact measurement method prevents the reproduction of viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms. It does not require decontamination and disinfection, which makes it possible to examine many people in a short time without the risk of transmission of diseases. It is used both in medical facilities, clinics and hospital wards.
Accuracy of measurements
The GIOfast thermometer is equipped with a technologically advanced infrared sensor that ensures high accuracy of measurements with an error tolerance of up to ±0.2°C. Automatic calibration guarantees stability and repeatability of measurements.
Comfort of use
Ergonomic shape of the handle and speed of measurement lasting approx. 1 second provides high comfort of use of the device. Correct interpretation of measurement results will be provided by a color display informing about the fever and an audible signal. If the distance from the forehead exceeds 3cm, a message will appear on the display to reduce the distance. Thanks to the high-quality laser sensor, the thermometer will neutralize the error caused by inadequate measurement distance. An additional convenience for the user is a built-in sensor indicating the need to replace the battery with a new one.
Functionality
In addition to body temperature (measured on the forehead), the GIOfast thermometer can also measure the temperature of objects, including liquids and foods, in the range from 0°C - 100 °C. A particularly useful feature for parents of young children, with which they can measure the temperature of bath water, milk or soup, without worrying about burning their baby. The contoured V-shaped sensor opening provides better collection of the reflected infrared beam for more accurate measurement. An additional advantage of the device is a built-in memory card recording the last 30 measurements, which will make it easier to monitor the health of the sick person.

In order to extend the battery life, when the thermometer is not in use, it will turn off automatically after 30 seconds going into sleep mode.
