The professional 18-piece set of long impact sockets YATO YT-10566 is a comprehensive tool package designed for the toughest tasks in automotive services, mechanical plants and industry.
Designed to work with high torque pneumatic and cordless impact wrenches with 1/2" (12.7 mm). The extended socket profile in combination with a set of professional impact extensions allows you to freely reach deep-seated screws, nuts swheel caps and suspension components that are not available for standard, short keys.

Advanced material and utility technology
- Chrome-molybdenum steel (CrMo): The sockets are made of specialized CrMo alloy, which exhibits much greater structural flexibility than ordinary chrome-vanadium steel (CrV) used in hand wrenches. Thanks to this, the tools suppress the powerful ripple impacts generated by the impact mechanism of the wrench and do not break under the influence of extreme overloads.
- Phosphate and blackened coating: The chemical phosphatization process applies a protective layer to the steel, which perfectly binds the oil and protects the tools against rust caused by moisture, lubricants and aggressive workshop chemicals. This also prevents the coating from peeling, which is often the case with chrome caps.
- AS-DRIVE system (Anti-Slip): The internal geometry of the cap transfers torque to the flat side planes of the screw, not directly to its sharp edges. This allows you to safely unscrew even partially corroded or machined nuts, increasing the clamping force by 25% without the risk of bypassing (rounding) the screw head.
- A set of impact extensions: The included extensions (including the long version 250 mm) have been subjected to the same hardening process as the caps. They allow you to safely transfer the full power of the impact wrench to a distance without energy loss and without the risk of twisting the core of the extension.

Golden principle of safety of work with impact (Operator protection): All caps and extensions from this set have special technological holes in the 1/2" socket. When working with a pneumatic or battery wrench, it is absolutely necessary to use a dedicated safety pin and rubber O-ring, which lock the cap on the key holder. This prevents the rotating element from accidentally slipping and hitting at high revs (up to several thousand revolutions per minute).
Operating tip (Application of 17/19/21 mm sockets): Included caps in the set in sizes 17, 19 and 21 mm are the most popular sizes supporting wheel bolts of passenger cars and vans. Although they are made of powerful CrMo steel, their walls have been optimized for tight rim sockets. Before each use, make sure that the cap has been pressed to the very end of the screw head – incomplete embedding on impact can lead to damage to the edge of the screw or premature fatigue of the tool material. Always wear safety glasses when working.
