The SCU21E CODEC presentation switch has been designed for soft codec video conferencing systems, i.e. those that are implemented on the basis of a computer with appropriate software such as MS Teams, Zoom, etc. You can connect 2 computers to it – one via HDMI 2.0 input and at the same time USB (USB-B 'host' port), the other via USB-C port, which supports both video and audio transfer, as well as data. Choosing a computer sends its signals to HDMI and Audio Out outputs and at the same time connects USB HID devices from USB-A ports 1 and 2 to the computer – e.g. microphone and camera.

This functionality allows the user to connect the computer brought to the room in one of two available ways and use the entire infrastructure that is in the room.

There are various modes of operation of the device – AUTO mode, which grants all resources to the last connected users, manual mode – with the switching of users using the button on the front plate of the device, RS232 or CEC command. There are also other modes, freely configurable by the user using RS232 commands.

The device supports video resolutions up to 4Kx2K@60Hz 4:4:4 8 bit, 1080P and 3D.
