The Gryzek brand is the first in Poland to introduce a 100% natural, ecological substrate for rodents to the zoological market.
The substrate is made from fresh grasses of the meadows with an admixture of organic hay, thanks to which the product is 100% natural and fragrant.
It is currently the safest substrate for animals because it does not contain toxic resins that are found in wood litters produced from coniferous trees (e.g. pine, spruce).
- Resins are dangerously harmful to rodents, e.g. chinchillas, which after ingestion can lead to the death of the animal.
- In the case of wooden gravels produced from deciduous trees, the composition includes as harmful as resins, tannins and dyes - these are chemical compounds of a phenolic nature.
