The incredibly absorbent sponge allows you to collect a large amount of water with dirt, which we then squeeze out with a single movement, without bending down, getting dirty and soaking our hands and other usually discouraging us from cleaning. It can also be removed and replaced with a new one, so the mop will last for a long time.
There is also an element at the end of the stick that allows you to hang on the mop hook. The sponge will then be able to dry freely, will not musty and will extend its life.
Old mop models don’t squeeze enough water and pull dirt across the floor instead of collecting it. They are bulky, take up a lot of space and take a lot of time to dry. It also often happens that in order to get a satisfactory effect, you need to wash the floor several times with such a mop.
