Granulate for Snails Vitrol GB 1 kg

Vitrol in the form of granules - ready-to-use bait (RB), designed for fighting naked and corrupted snails. Thanks to a specially selected bait, it effectively attracts snails and is eagerly eaten by them.

The mechanism of action of the active substance of the agent - iron pyrophosphate, consists in reducing the secretion of mucus by snails. The agent causes immediate inhibition of feeding snails on crops - after just one consumption of the agent, pests lose their appetite and stop damaging plants. After ingestion of granules, snails usually hide in the soil/substrate where they die, so that no mucus and dead snails can be seen in the protected area. Therefore, the effects of the measure may not be immediately visible and the effectiveness of the measure should be measured indirectly - with a smaller amount of damage caused by pests. The agent contains an active substance that is broken down into phosphate ions and iron ions, which naturally occur in the soil.

The preparation can be used in the presence of pets, birds and hedgehogs.

• Term of use: Use the product after the start of vegetation or after planting plants and later growing, immediately after the appearance of pests or after the first damage caused by pests has been observed.
