➡ Why choose this chain?
The chain is designed to meet the demands of a variety of chainsaw models. Its parameters such as chain stroke and groove width are standard for many popular chainsaws, which makes it easy to fit into the tool.
In addition,
The use of full chisel in the chain ensures precise and fast cutting , which is extremely important when working with wood. The set also includes two spare links, which can be helpful in the event of damage to the chain during operation.
- Chains with full chisel show a high level of power transmission of the saw to the cutting capacity by cutting teeth with a sharp profile along with rebound reducing cells.
This chain for saw is a versatile solution that will work in many saw models. With its full chisel , it guarantees cutting efficiency and accuracy. Two spare cells additionally prolong the life of the chain. Use this kit to enjoy the efficient operation of your saw for a long time.
➡ How to choose the right chain for your saw?
Information about the technical parameters of the cutting chain and guide can most often be found on the packaging or in the instruction manual of the saw, on the guide of the saw in the form of stamped symbols or on the Internet on the website of the device manufacturer.
To choose the right chain for your saw, pay attention to several key parameters:
- Chain pitch – is the distance between the axes of the first and third rivets divided by two, measured in inches. The chain from the offer has a 3/8 inch stroke , which is a popular size in medium power saws.
- The width of the guide groove – that is, the width of the gap in which the chain moves. In this case it is 1,3 mm .
- Number of guide links – key for the chain to fit the guide properly. This chain has 50 guide links . The number of links can be found on the old chain or in the saw manual.
- Length of guide – it is important that the chain is adjusted to the length of the saw guide. This model is suitable for 14-inch (35 cm) guides.
for 3/8 chains, the distance between the three rivets is approx. 19 mm. The chain pitch can also be verified by checking the number of teeth on the clutch basket.
How do I do that?
If the number of teeth on the clutch basket is:
- 7 teeth - jump .325
- 6 teeth - 3/8 stroke
If instead of a fixed sprocket, the clutch basket has a floating sprocket, then the information about the jump will be loaded on the floating sprocket, i.e.:
- 0.325 or 3/8
Counting the guide links on the chain in the combustion saw is quite simple. Here are the steps on how to do it:
- Remove the chain from the combustion saw – Make sure the saw is turned off and disconnected from the power supply to avoid accidental start-up. Then remove the chain from the guide.
- Place the chain on a flat surface – Place the chain on a table or other flat surface for easy counting.
- Find guide links – Guide links are those small metal "teeth" placed on the bottom of the chain that fit into the guide groove. They are different from the cutting teeth that are located on the top of the chain.
- Count all the guide links – Start counting from one of the guide links and count each subsequent link around the chain until you get back to where you started. Each lead cell counts as one.
