Prekė: Gliukozės matuoklis SEJOY su 50 juostelių ir 50 lancetų. Kategorija: Gliukozės matuokliai.

  • Gamintojas: SEJOY
  • Modelis: BG-709g

The set includes:

  • Sejoy BG-709g glucose meter (incl. battery)
  • Test strips BS-606 from Sejoy (50 pieces)
  • Sterilance lancets + disposable lancets 50 pcs.

The Sejoy BG-709g glucose meter is used to perform quantitative measurements of glucose concentration in fresh, whole capillary blood. Professional medical personnel can also perform quantitative measurements of glucose levels in venous or neonatal blood. A sample of fresh, whole capillary blood can be taken from the fingertip, a sample of neonatal blood can be taken from the heel. The system is designed for in vitro diagnostics at home and for use by professional medical personnel in healthcare facilities to monitor the effectiveness of glycemic control. The system is not intended for the diagnosis of diabetes.

Sejoy BS-606 Test Strips are intended for use with the Sejoy BG-709g Glucose Meter to provide quantitative glucose measurements in fresh capillary whole blood during self-monitoring of blood glucose. Professional medical personnel can also perform quantitative measurements of glucose concentration in venous or neonatal blood. A sample of fresh capillary whole blood can be collected from the fingertip , a sample of neonatal blood can be collected from the heel . The system is intended for in vitro diagnostics at home and for use by professional medical personnel in healthcare facilities to monitor the effectiveness of glycemic control . The system is not intended for diagnosing diabetes.

Principle of operation:

The strip measures glucose concentration using an amperometric technique, using the glucose dehydrogenase reaction. When whole blood or a control solution sample is drawn into the tip of the test strip, the glucose in the sample reacts with the reagents in the strip , producing an electric current . The glucometer measures the intensity of the generated electric current and converts it into the appropriate glucose concentration. The glucose test result converted to plasma glucose concentration is displayed on the meter screen.

Chemical composition of the strips:

Glucose dehydrogenase ≥ 1.6 IU; potassium ferrocyanide ≥ 0.2 mg; stabilizer ≥ 0.1 mg; other ingredients 68%.

Each package contains a desiccant.

Number of strips in the package: 50

The Sterilance lancet is designed for use with a disposable lancet for capillary blood sampling from peripheral parts of the human body for testing. The LDE4 lancet has 9 depth levels and a knob to set the desired puncture depth. Puncture depth adjustment: number 1 for delicate/thin skin, number 3 for normal skin, number 5 for calloused skin. Further precise adjustments can be made by setting the knob between the numbers.

Principle of Operation of the Glucose Meter (using the strips):

Contacts: Insert this part of the strip into the test strip port. Insert the strip until it stops.

Tip: Apply the blood sample to this part.

Confirmation Window: Sample check area.

Note: Use the glucose meter only with BS-606 test strips. Using other test strips with this glucose meter will result in inaccurate readings.

The strip measures glucose concentration using the amperometric technique, utilizing the reaction of glucose dehydrogenase. When whole blood or a control solution sample is drawn into the test strip tip, the glucose in the sample reacts with the reagents in the strip, producing an electric current. The glucose meter measures the intensity of the generated electric current and converts it to the corresponding glucose concentration. The glucose measurement result, converted to blood plasma glucose concentration, is displayed on the glucose meter screen.

Blood glucose test:

  1. Hands and puncture site should be washed with an alcohol swab or soapy water. Then rinse thoroughly and dry your hands.
  2. The tip of the adjustable lancet tip should be positioned at the side of the finger. Press the release button and then, after the puncture, move the lancer away from your finger. The lancet should be set aside and wait a few seconds for a drop of blood to form.
  3. In order to obtain a round drop of blood, gently squeeze your finger. The first drop should be discarded. Do not measure if blood is smeared or leaking. Wipe the puncture area and gently squeeze another drop of blood or puncture a new area

Important health-related information:

  • Patients undergoing oxygen therapy may get inaccurate results.
  • Some people with diabetes do not experience symptoms of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Others, i.e. children, unconscious persons or people with certain types of disabilities may not be able to communicate their symptoms to caregivers. For these reasons, you should not change any therapy before consulting your doctor.
  • After opening a new pack of test strips or if the result is suspected to be incorrect, a follow-up test should be performed. Performing a control test allows you to determine that the glucose meter and test strips are working properly.
  • DO NOT CHANGE TREATMENT BASED ON A SINGLE TEST RESULT INCONSISTENT WITH WELL-BEING OR IF YOU SUSPECT THAT THE TEST RESULT MAY BE ABNORMAL. If the test result is inconsistent with your well-being despite following the instructions in this manual, follow your doctor’s instructions or contact your doctor.
  • Children should be taught proper handling of the glucose meter and any other medical devices.
  • Serious dehydration or loss of water can result in falsified (understated) test results. If you think you may be dehydrated, contact your doctor immediately.
  • If, despite following all the instructions in this manual, you still have symptoms inconsistent with the results of the examination or if you have questions, you should consult your doctor.
  • The system is intended for use with fresh, whole capillary blood, venous blood or neonatal blood.
  • The results obtained at an altitude above 3048 meters above sea level may be inaccurate.
  • BS-606 test strips: hematocrit higher than 70% will affect the test results. Contact your doctor to determine the haematocrit.
  • Some substances may cause falsification of measurement results performed by enzymatic tests.

Note:

  • Use BS-606 test strips only.
  • Before testing, make sure that the glucose meter and test strips have roughly the same temperature.
  • The test shall be performed within the operating temperature range of 5⁰C~45⁰C. The most accurate results shall be obtained during the test at room temperature of 20⁰C~25⁰C.
  • To avoid contamination and damage, close the vial tightly immediately after use.
  • Store unused strips only in the original vial.
  • The test strip vial should not be opened before being ready to remove the strap and perform the test. Use the test strip immediately after removal from the vial.
  • The used test strip should not be returned to the vial.
  • Do not reuse the test strip into which blood or control fluid has been previously introduced. Test strips are a single-use product.
  • The first time you open the vial with the test strips, write the date of opening on the vial label. Discard the vial 6 months after the first opening date.

Maintenance of the glucose meter:

Avoid contaminating the test strip port with dirt, dust, blood, control fluid, water or other liquids.

Note: Never immerse the glucose meter in water or other liquids. This can result in incorrect results or a glucose meter failure.

System storage:

After each use, the glucose meter and test strips should be stored in the case. Each of the elements should be stored in a cool, dry place. The test strips should be stored at a temperature in the range of 1⁰C~30⁰C. The glucose meter and other components of the kit should be stored at a temperature in the range of -20⁰C~55⁰C. Do not refrigerate. All elements of the set protect against direct sunlight and heat. Immediately after use, close the lid of the test strips tightly to avoid contamination or damage. The test strips should only be stored in their original vial.
