Accu-Chek® Active are original test strips designed to work with the Accu-Chek Active glucose meter. They enable quick and precise measurement of capillary blood glucose levels, providing convenient self-control for people with diabetes and supporting the work of medical staff. Technology based on enzymatic and optical reaction reading of the color change of the test field guarantees reliable results in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.

The test strips use the enzyme glucose dehydrogenase (Mut. Q-GDH 2). After applying the blood sample, a chemical reaction occurs, causing a change in the color of the test field, which is analyzed by the glucose meter. Based on this, the device calculates the blood glucose concentration. The manufacturer recommends basing therapeutic decisions solely on the result displayed by the glucose meter – the comparison of the color of the test field serves only as a control of the correctness of the measurement.

The Accu-Chek Active system is designed for maximum user comfort.

1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
2. Remove one strip and close the container immediately.
3. Insert the strip into the glucose meter or prepare it to apply the sample according to the instructions of the device.
4. Get a drop of blood with a lancet.
5. Put the sample on the test field.
6. Read the result on the glucose meter screen.

To maintain the accuracy of measurements:
