1. Glucose Alerts

   With notifications of too low or high glucose, you will avoid unpleasant health consequences. The system not only monitors, but also keeps you informed, giving you time to react quickly.

2. Painless sensor application

   The sensor application to the skin is virtually painless, and the process itself takes only a moment. Thanks to the use of sterile fiber with a length of 5 mm, the sensor is discreet and its assumption is a pure formality.

3. Water is not a problem

   Sensor is waterproof, which allows for comfortable use in everyday conditions, e.g. during bathing. The time in which you can stay in usable water is up to 30 minutes.

4. NOTE! Remember not to take a bath for at least 10-12 hours after applying the sensor and avoid intense physical exertion - this will allow for better bonding of the adhesive to the skin and reduce the risk of the sensor falling off.

1. Can I use the same LibreLink application as the Freestyle Libre 2 sensors?

Yes, the application for Freestyle Libre 2 PLUS is the same. Requires a phone with NFC module. Make sure your phone is compatible before purchasing.

2. How long does the sensor last?

The sensor works for 15 days, after which it should be changed to a new one if we want to continue using it.

3. Is the sensor waterproof?

Yes, the sensor is waterproof, in case of intense contact with water, it is worth protecting it with an additional patch - patches are available in our store. It may also happen that under the influence of prolonged contact with water, the sensor will peel off - this is not a manufacturing defect of the product.

4. Do I need to have an additional sensor reader?

No, but the Freestyle Libre 2 reader is an optional device that can make it easier to read the results when someone cannot or does not want to use the phone.

5. Why do my results differ from those of a glucose meter?

Yes, your sensor measurement results will vary from blood to blood and should not be compared directly as the sensor takes measurements in subcutaneous tissue. The manufacturer allows the difference between measurements if it is not too high, e.g. it is not more than 30-40 mg at a stable level of glucose - horizontal arrow on the application chart (with drops or increases in glucose levels, the differences may be higher).

6. My sensor from the beginning of the assumption shows strongly underestimated or overestimated results in relation to measurements from the glucose meter

Yeah, it could happen. In the first 48 hours, the filament is saturated and may need more time to stabilize. After 48 hours, the discrepancies should already decrease. If this does not happen, please contact the Sugarcubes store.
