Fights Restube in sachet at the bar
Restube buoys fit in a small, convenient sachet, attached to the belt. They fill pneumatically, thanks to the compression of the gas in the cartridge.
CO2 automatically pumps the buoy, after pulling the handle, within a fraction of a second.
Placing the Restube buoy at the belt is the perfect solution for anyone who practices water sports. With the Restube reusable buoy, you can surf, kitesurf, dive, sail and enjoy any activity in the water with confidence. Nothing restricts movement, does not tangle and does not slow down swimming. Excellent belaying is at your fingertips if necessary.
When to use pneumatic buoys, safety Restube?
If necessary, the Restube buoys allow you to safely reach the shore or calmly wait for help. They do their job in both salt and fresh water. In emergency situations, if the muscle catches a contraction, a strong current interferes with reaching the goal, or simply, for better well-being, it is worth having a belay with you. During a water equipment failure, Restube pneumatic buoys can save lives. The buoy is permanently connected to the belt. Simply reach into the pin with your hand and release the CO2 cartridge. After filling, the buoy has a displacement of 75 N (7,0 kg), which is enough to keep the head of each swimmer on the surface of the water.
How to fill safety buoys for swimming?
Restube buoys are very easy to use.
Pulling the trigger will automatically fill the buoy with gas from a 16 gram CO2 cartridge. Blowing takes a split second.
By grabbing the buoy with your hands, we will keep our head on the surface of the water. You can safely catch your breath, rest and swim to the shore or wait for help. Restube buoys will also be filled with mouth through the drain-inlet valve. This valve is used to drain CO2 or air (you need to press the valve with an inverted stopper). After installing a new CO2 cartridge, rolling up and tucking into the bag, the safety buoys for swimming are ready for reuse. Restube buoys are made of durable material approved for the production of life jackets.
Pneumatic, safety buoys Restube – comfort and safety
During holidays by the water, a light safety buoy, placed in a sachet at the belt, is worth having with you. The buoy is permanently connected to the strap fastened with a “click” buckle. Increases the comfort of spending time in the water and confidence in swimming skills.
RESTUBE on the plane
Aviation information
Original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges contain 16 g of CO2 under pressure and are treated as hazardous materials in air transport.
However, according to IATA, up to 4 CO2 cartridges could be brought on board the aircraft.
After all, it is the airline and the pilot who make the final decision whether such cartridges can be brought on board the plane. If the cartridge is not installed, there are no special transport requirements or restrictions for RESTUBE.
According to the IATA/LBA, up to 4 pieces of 16 g. CO2 cartridges can be on board the aircraft:
- in hand luggage
- in checked baggage
- with the traveller
Although these are official regulations, not all ground personnel are aware of them. To avoid possible problems, we have prepared this manual for RESTUBE cartridge owners on board the aircraft. Please follow our recommendations and you will avoid any problems.
- Report to airlines before departureReport RESTUBE along with the amount of CO2 cartridges to airlines (by phone). You should do this immediately after booking or at least 48 hours before departure. Ask the airline to confirm your application (by email/written), and have one with you.
- Transport RESTUBE and CO2 cartridges separatelyOpen the flap of the bag carefully and remove the buoy. Remove the CO2 cartridge from the RESTUBE mechanism.
- Store CO2 cartridges with this information in a separate bag.
