IMPROVED AF

Compared to the first version of the Z5, the autofocus in the second version has been improved. Now it runs up to 68% faster than the previous generation. This is made possible by the computing power of the Expeed 7 processor, and the system is also characterized by efficiency down to -10EV, allowing for effective focusing in any light. Keep the lighting atmospheric and subdued and always ensure perfectly focused shots. The Z5II also features a spectacular advanced multi-object recognition system with 3D tracking. The camera will automatically recognize 9 different types of objects.

This is made possible by pre-shutter recording, which allows you to capture the decisive frame before you even press the shutter button. Furthermore, the Z5II automatically switches between AF-S and AF-C modes – it simply detects movement to instantly adjust the autofocus behavior.

VR IMAGE STABILIZATION WITH AN EFFECTIVENESS OF UP TO 7.5 DEGREES

Shoot handheld even with very long exposure times and limited light. Built-in IBIS image stabilization provides performance up to 7.5 EV , allowing for truly spectacular extension of exposure times. So you can easily take handheld shots without reaching for additional accessories such as a tripod or flash. You will always be able to maintain atmospheric lighting or combine interesting effects of longer exposures with sharpness of stationary objects in the frame. This image stabilization also makes it easier to use lenses with longer focal lengths.

MOVABLE DISPLAY AND ERGONOMIC DESIGN

The display can be tilted to give you comfortable framing at any angle. It has a 3.2" diagonal and a resolution of 2,100,000 dots to ensure clear viewing and easy operation. The information displayed on the monitor rotates as the camera position changes. You have a touchscreen button at your disposal to which you can assign the most frequently used functions. Nikon Z5II has a body made of a durable magnesium alloy, which is also relatively light at 700 g. It also has seals that match those of the Z6III model. 2 memory card slots allow you to easily create backups or use 2 times more memory capacity. The deeper grip provides a better and more comfortable grip , and the camera is compatible with the optional MB-N14 grip.
