Since the introduction of the system in 1954, the best photographers in the world have valued Leica M cameras and lenses for their exceptional image quality, intuitive operation, masterful build quality and value retention. Leica M has remained true to its iconic design and uncompromising focus on what matters most. Of course, this also applies to the latest camera in the M11 family: Leica M11-D.

The lack of a display on the back makes shooting with the Leica M11-D focused on the basic aspects of the image, such as composition, aperture, shutter speed and sensitivity. In place of the display on the back of the camera there is a large ISO knob. When it comes to functionality, the new M11-D sacrifices nothing. With great personalization capabilities, modern connectivity and hardware authentication technology, first introduced to the camera market with the M11-P as Leica Content Credentials, the M11-D proves to be the perfect combination of classic rangefinder photography and cutting-edge technology. With clean lines, matte black surfaces and no red Leica logo, the new M11-D represents maximum minimalism in the timeless design of Leica products.

The M11-D allows you to take photos with a resolution of 60, 36 or 18 megapixels. With a 3 GB buffer, you can take continuous shots up to 5 frames per second at 60 megapixels. The internal memory with a capacity of 256 GB provides enough space for photos. Plus, the powerful battery ensures that your M11-D is always ready at the crucial moment. The camera is 115 grams lighter than its predecessor, weighing only 540 grams (with battery). Thanks to this change, it fits perfectly in the hand.

The M11-D is extremely convenient to use and adapts to personal preferences thanks to the individual assignment of function buttons. As an M camera, it also opens the door to a world of unmatched M lenses and provides access to all the legendary M-System fixeds produced since 1954. Combined with a full-frame image sensor with Triple Resolution technology, designed for the Leica M family, and an ISO range from native ISO 64 to ISO 50 000, the Leica M11-D achieves outstanding image results with excellent low-light quality.

Although the Leica M11-D brings the analog experience to the digital world, it is not limited to this. Each user decides at what point the digital workflow will be integrated into the M11-D. The new M-System camera offers seamless connectivity via Bluetooth or direct connection via USB-C. As a certified product, “Made for iPhone® and iPad®” provides a particularly fast and convenient connection to iOS devices.

Further settings can be made using the Leica FOTOS app on your smartphone. Thanks to this, the connection to the application allows easy transfer of photos, remote control and geotagging. In addition, photos can be checked and evaluated in the Leica FOTOS app on iOS or Android devices regardless of the camera. In the application, you can also make adjustments such as white balance and selection between DNG and JPEG file formats. When saved to the Leica FOTOS app, M11-D permanently takes over the settings. Thanks to this, the new M camera can be adapted to individual needs.

Leica Content Credentials technology based on hardware helps protect the authenticity of digital images. It is based on a scheme developed by the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) and the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) open technical standard. Thanks to this, the authenticity of photos taken with the M11-D camera can be checked at any time using the free tool available or at https://contentcredentials.org/verify.
