The time and intensity of the procedure depend on the type of program used. In the case of EMS programs, there is generally a rule that programs responsible for muscle strength should have the maximum intensity set, but with some comfort and without pain. For relaxation programs (e.g. capillaryization or diastole), intensity should be moderate.

TRIATHLON belongs to the new series of electrostimulators from Globus containing a number of revolutionary solutions, as a handheld device designed for the health, sports and medicine segments.

"3S" Serial sequential stimulation

TRIATHLON PRO has 4 stimulation channels (8 electrodes in total). The operation of sequential programs "3S" consists in delayed activation of channels 3 and 4 in relation to channels 1 and 2. This allows for muscle stimulation in the kinematic chain by temporarily differentiating the activation of the involved muscle groups. The "3S" programs create a real sequential drainage: sequential contractions of various muscle groups causing waves with deep pressure of the entire musculature, which in turn causes drainage of interstitial fluid and promotes the return of venous blood towards the heart.

"Action Now" - Programs controlled by button

"Action Now" programs, or "act now", are normal EMS programs with the one difference that each individual action is triggered using the "*" button. Such programmes are particularly useful in combining and synchronizing electrical stimulation with voluntary activities.

It is recommended to use them primarily in such sports as e.g. athletic preparations, where muscle contraction induced by a stimulator can be combined with dynamic or isometric exercise.

Mode 2+2

It allows you to run two independent programs (type EMS and TENS) in parallel, which can perform treatments in two different areas, or in two people at the same time.

We use all 4 channels here, with one program running on channels 1 and 2, and the other program running on channels 3 and 4.

Function "10 last programs" and "Ulobione"

The device automatically keeps in memory 10 recently used programs, which makes it easy to quickly reach the most frequently used programs.

In addition, any built-in program can be saved in the list of favorite programs (maximum 15 programs).

These functions do not apply to own programs and "2+2" mode.

Multi-user support

The device can be used by many co-workers, patients or athletes, for a total of 10 users, plus one default user. Thanks to this, the list of "10 last programs" and "Favorites" programs can be personalized and available to each user separately. Each user is assigned an access code.

Own programs

TRIATHLON PRO is a programmable electrostimulator, which means that it offers the ability to create new programs and modify existing ones. Thanks to this, the device is highly flexible and can meet all requirements. Each program can be assigned its own name, stimulation parameters and the number of phases of the procedure.

Thanks to the possibility of defining own treatment programs (maximum 10), TRIATHLON can be used in virtually any applications requiring long-term and advanced medical rehabilitation at home, not only related to sports.

Syncro Stim function

It allows you to simultaneously adjust the intensity of stimulation on all channels using dedicated "P+" and "P-" buttons.

With as many as four channels, this function can be very useful.

Parameterization of the program

Once the program is running, it is possible to change some stimulation parameters, such as pulse frequency, pulse width and duration of the current phase of the procedure.

Automatic stimulation

The "AUTO STIM" automatic mode function is only available for EMS and TENS stimulation. It allows the user to execute the program automatically, without adjusting the intensity. The intensity level will then be set automatically to the value that was selected during the previous execution of the program.

Convenient control of treatment time

Each program can be easily stopped and resumed at a convenient time, e.g. After the call is over on the phone. If during a given phase of the procedure we want to shorten it, it is enough to go straight to the next phase with one button.

Scheme of electrode placement

Before running any predefined program, a visualization of the placement of electrodes is displayed on the screen. Although in order to properly position the electrodes on the skin, it is best to seek information in the instruction manual, where it is presented in more detail, the "My Trainer" function is nevertheless useful and helps to understand the purpose of the program.

Program lock

The "STIM LOCK" function allows the doctor to set programs without the patient being able to change them. This solution can be used for novice users or by patients who will run programs specially selected by a physiotherapist.

Total working time

Thanks to the "WORK TIME" function, the doctor is able to check how long the total stimulation time performed by the patient lasted.
