The EM 89 Heat has four channels and eight electrodes — twice as many as the EM 59 Heat and EM 49. The heating has EM 89 and EM 59; EM 49 runs on batteries and there is no heat. EM 89 is chosen when the procedure is to cover large areas of the body.

Can I use only electrode parts?

Yes, the channels are independent — you connect as many pairs of electrodes as your treatment needs.

How hot do electrodes get?
