On the calibration certificate there is a place to enter the date of commissioning, this is the date of sale of the meter. Another execution of the metrological confirmation (calibration) is recommended to be carried out within 12 months from the date of purchase, but not later than 24 months from the date of manufacture. Multifunctional meter of electrical installation parameters Sonel MPI-535 is designed for checking domestic and industrial­ electrical installations. With the help of the instrument, measurements can be made, the results of which determine the safety status of the installation. This makes it possible to measure parameters of shock protection using one uni­versal device.

Significant automation of measurements is enabled by the function of testing residual current circuit breakers in Auto mode, as well as pre-programmed by the manufacturer measurement sequences (so-called. au­totests), which can also be expanded with your own sequences. Automatic measurements of insulation resistance of 3-, 4- and 5-wire cables will be made possible by the AutoISO-1000C adapter.

• ground resistance (4 measurement methods + ground resistivity measurement),

Installation security check

Thanks to the device, you can control home and industrial electrical installations in terms of safety. Measurements can be easily automated by:

• testing of residual current circuit breakers in Auto mode,
• self-tests – i.e. freely configurable measurement sequences,
• using the AutoISO-1000C adapter to test the insulation resistance of 3-, 4- and 5-wire cables.

The device is equipped with a color touch LCD screen with a diagonal of 7” and a resolution of 800x480 pixels. This guarantees convenience in operation and easy reading of parameters and time courses. A large screen means more information available when using the meter. The interface is readable in all conditions – also thanks to the appropriate size of the displayed symbols. The included stylus also allows you to work with dielectric gloves.

Built-in help system

The device has built-in help screens with measurement diagrams. Thanks to this, you can easily and quickly check how to connect a given system depending on the type of measurement performed.

Increased resistance to environmental conditions

The meter will cope well in difficult environmental conditions. Protection against dust and water ingress is provided by a unique housing with IP51 protection level. It is resistant to mechanical damage, and the special design allows you to easily secure the touch display by moving the meter cover. In addition to protecting against damage, it also allows you to comfortably carry and use the device in various positions.

Communication and software

The advantage of the device is the multitude of communication interfaces and cooperation with external software. Through the USB port, removable SD memory card or via wireless communication (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) you can transfer measurement data to your computer.

In order to generate a test report in the field of shock protection, use the Sonel Electrical Measurements program. Writing downloaded resources to the simplest formats and printing is provided by Sonel Reader.
