PRACTICAL TIPS – SELECTION OF POWER

Understand load types and boot factors:

• Resistive (×1) – kettle, heater, bulbs; no power surge at start-up.

• Brush motors (×2) – drills, grinders, vacuum cleaners; instantaneous collection approx. 2× larger.

• Inductive (×3,5 – 6) – pumps, compressors, concrete mixers; very high starting current – run them individually.

• Electronics and switching power supplies – small start-up, but recommended supply of 15% to 20% of power.

⚙ How to choose the right load

1 Add up the power of devices that will work simultaneously.

2 Devices with motors multiply by starting factor.

3 Do not exceed 1,8 kW of continuous power (2,0 kW is instantaneous power).

4 Start the receivers one by one – first the ones with the largest start-up.

Examples of applications

• Home set – kettle 1200 W + fridge 300 W (start 900 W) + LED lighting 100 W → approx. 2200 W at startup / 1600 W at work – approx.

• Workshop – grinder 1000 W (start 2000 W) + LED lamps 200 W → safe load.

• 150W CO pump (300W start) + 150W laptop + 50W router → ideal use of ECO mode.

💡 Usage guidelines

• After starting, wait 1 to 2 minutes before connecting the receivers.

• Turn on devices with high start-up individually.

• Before turning off, disconnect the receivers and let the unit work approx. One minute idling.

• Use cables with the right cross-section and as short extension cords as possible.
