The BLOW baby monitor is a device particularly useful for parents / caregivers. It allows you to move freely within the operating range of the device without losing supervision over the child / person in need of care. The device consists of two modules - a transmitter, which is placed in the child's room / person in need of care, and a receiver - for a parent / guardian. The transmitting module transmits by radio to the receiving module any sounds from the environment in which it was installed. Thanks to this solution, the person taking care hears everything that happens in the monitored room.

INSTALLATION

A. The transmitting module (transmitter) should be placed in the room that will be monitored - the child's room / person in need of care. The transmitter requires connection to a standard 230V voltage socket.

B. The receiving module (receiver) should be placed in the parent/guardian room. The receiver requires 4 AAA batteries to function properly, which must be placed in the sockets inside its housing. It is recommended to use alkaline batteries to maximize the duration of operation. During the installation / replacement of the batteries, make sure that they are correctly mounted in the sockets (the positive and negative pole is in the right position). The receiving module can also be powered by an external DC 9V / 200 mA power supply (plug - negative pole inside). Connecting an external power source automatically disconnects the power from the battery. For long listening times without having to move to other rooms, this way of powering the receiver is recommended.

SELECTION OF THE WORK CHANNEL

The BLOW baby monitor can operate on one of two predefined frequencies. By default, both modules work on the first channel (CH1) and this setting should not be changed if there are no problems in listening. If the operation of the device is not correct and there are disturbances in reception, switch the channel to the second (CH2) in both modules. The corresponding switch is located in both the transmitter and receiver. Please note that for the kit to work properly, both modules must work on the same channel (CH1) or (CH2).

INSTALLATION

There are three basic options for assembling the elements of the set:

1. Both the transmitter and receiver have a flat base, which allows it to be placed stable on any flat surface.

2. The modules have mounting holes on the back of the housing that allow them to be mounted on the wall

3. The receiver also has a clip strap

For the best possible performance, it is recommended that the transmitter be mounted within a maximum radius of 3 meters from the child / person in need of care. Do not place the modules in places where they may be exposed to high temperature, moisture or other adverse factors.

SCOPE OF ACTION

The average operating range of the set at home is 30 - 50 meters. The range also depends on the degree of battery charge and other environmental and structural factors of the building (e.g. wall thickness, materials used, etc. ). It is recommended to carry out your own range tests of the kit for the most effective use and optimal setting of both the transmitter and receiver.

TRANSMITTER

1. Connect the transmitter to a power source and set in the room to be monitored.

2. Using the potentiometer, set the sensitivity of the transmitter (activation of transmission is initiated by sounds coming from the environment, therefore it is important to set the sensitivity. In rooms where it is usually very quiet or at night - minimal sensitivity is usually sufficient, while in places where ambient sounds are clearer - higher sensitivity. It is recommended to test the device and select the appropriate transmitter sensitivity based on individual test conclusions). Broadcasting is indicated by the illumination of the red transmitter diode.

RECEIVER

1. Mount the batteries in the receiver or connect the receiver to an external power source. Turn on the receiver with the volume potentiometer. Lighted green LED - signals that the device is on.

2. Set the sound level with the volume potentiometer.

The receiver is also equipped with 5 LEDs indicating the level of received sound.
