Description
Waveshare 33137 is a set based on a full-color E-Paper display with a diagonal of 7.3 inches , using E Ink Spectra 6 (E6) technology. The module is designed to work with Raspberry Pi Zero i computers and is an energy-efficient solution for displaying images, information and graphics in applications that require a long time of image maintenance without power.
The display is characterized by passive, reflective operation , has no backlight and retains the last displayed content even after the power is completely disconnected. This makes it ideal for applications with very low power consumption, such as digital frames, information boards, and IoT projects.
The module is integrated with an elegant frame made of solid wood , equipped with a rotating stand and a wall mount bracket. The design allows the device to be used in both standing and hanging positions, in various utility scenarios.
The set has a built-in UPS chip, precision real-time clock RTC DS3231 and battery power support . This allows simultaneous charging of the battery and powering the system, and in the event of a failure of external power supply, automatic switching to battery power. Monitoring of voltage, current, power and battery charge level is carried out via the I2C bus.
The product is compatible with the Raspberry Pi HAT+ standard and is designed to work with Raspberry Pi Zero boards, including the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 WHC board is not included in the kit.
