Mallow flower contains a wealth of bioactive compounds that affect many aspects of animal health:
- anthocyanins and flavonoids – natural antioxidants supporting immunity and protecting cells from oxidative stress,
- mucous substances (8-12%) – have a protective and soothing effect on the mucous membranes of the digestive and respiratory systems,
- tannins and pectins – regulate the work of the intestines, support the bacterial flora and prevent digestive disorders,
