Safety on the road
When looking for a bicycle lighting set, it is necessary to take into account not only the quality, but also the complexity of the solutions and technologies used. The Kross brand offers a lightweight lighting set made of the highest quality materials – polycarbonate (PC) and ABS. In addition, the front lamp uses modern Low Beam and Mobile Current technologies, which makes the Quark SET 1.0 one of the most attractive on the market.
Characteristics of lamps
The set consists of two lamps – front and rear. The front lamp, the Quark F1.0, is powered by a replaceable AA battery, whose operating time varies from two to five hours (± 15%). The light source in this lamp is an Osram LED with a power of 1 W (± 0,15), giving light with a power of 60 lumens (± 15%) and an intensity of 640 cd (± 15%), whose range exceeds 50 meters. It is also very light – without batteries it weighs 42g.
The rear lamp, model Quark R1.0, is powered by an AAA replacement battery that works more than 5 hours. As a light source, a COD board with 3 LEDs with a power of 0,2 watts was used, which allows to obtain light with a value of 4 lumens (± 20%) and an intensity of 6 cd (± 20%). The rear lamp weighs only 15g without batteries. Both lamps have built-in battery indicators and two operating modes – constant and variable (flashing).
