• One of the latest developments in the Spanninga range is the X&O 25. This sleek battery-powered front light is made from a miniaturized version of the high-performance Philips® optical system.

  The name of the lamp is X&O, which is an acronym from AXENDO. X&O is considered the smaller brother of the AXENDO series. Equipped with the same technology, but in a smaller size. The X&O 25 has a stylish and sturdy design. This adds a special touch to city and trekking bikes, while the integrated and discreet glare gives the lamp a smooth look. Sturdy stainless steel bracket with matte black finish provides an energetic touch.

Features and performance

The X&O 25 only runs on 2 AA batteries (included with the product) and has a lifespan of 10 hours. This is impressive given the high luminous flux of 25 lux, the range of 30 meters and visibility from a distance of up to 2500 meters. Additional safety is provided by wide openings on the side of the headlight. This ensures good visibility not only from the front, but also for vehicles coming from the side.

The powerful Reverse Beam Technology (RBT©) used in the X&O 25 produces a powerful beam of light of 25 lux. This is in accordance with German, Danish and Dutch standards. In the meantime, the light retains very low power consumption. But even when the battery is almost empty, you don’t have to worry. The X&O 25 has a handy battery indicator that instantly signals the need to replace the battery.

RBT Technology

Spanninga has developed reverse LED beam technology that uses only 1 regular bulb energy for the same intensity and almost no heat loss. The LED light is directed backwards onto the mirror, directing it to a powerful conical beam with excellent light spread. The light is then scattered over a large area, making it less aggressive to the eyes. The result is less light loss and less energy consumption.
