Fenix ​​BC30 V-2.0 is a proven bike flashlight in a new, improved version, which features a more powerful 2200 lumen light beam, a convenient wireless switch and a smaller and lighter design. The BC30 is designed for use in urban environments. Fenix ​​BC30 V2.0 combines the functionality of the first generation model with a number of new changes affecting functionality, longer operating time and comfort of use.

Construction of Fenix ​​BC30 V-2.0 flashlight

The compact body of the flashlight is made of an anodized aluminum alloy, which effectively dissipates heat and provides protection against mechanical damage, rain and dust (IP67 class). Thanks to its smaller size, lower weight and quick release function, Fenix ​​BC30 V2.0 can also be used as a regular handheld flashlight. The previously mentioned bicycle holder features a quick release function for the flashlight. Disassembly simply requires pressing the locking lever and sliding the lights out of the bracket. The lamp can also be mounted on the cyclist's helmet.

Special optical system and 2200 lumens output

Fenix ​​BC30 V2.0 flashlight uses two LUMINUS SST-40-N5 diodes emitting a maximum light flux of 2200 lumens with an effective range of up to 187 m. This strong light flux ensures excellent road visibility in urban conditions and allows for safe movement off-road in areas without lighting.

The specially designed Dual Distance Beam system has an innovative diffuser that illuminates the road ahead more effectively and disperses the upper part of the light beam. As a result, the beam efficiently illuminates the road up to the height of the steering wheel, without blinding drivers and passers-by. The light beam is 85° wide, which ensures excellent visibility both in urban and rural conditions and allows for a quick response to threats.

Fenix ​​BC30 V2.0 Bicycle Flashlight – Wireless Radio Switch

The element that distinguishes Fenix ​​BC30 V2.0 from the first generation model is the radio switch, the operation of which significantly simplifies the operation of the flashlight. The smart switch has two buttons for changing the brightness and activating turbo mode. The ability to place it within fingertip reach and high responsiveness improve driving comfort and safety. Regardless of whether the light is mounted on the handlebar or the cyclist's helmet (additional adapter required), the switch makes it easy to change modes.

Fenix ​​BC30 V2.0 has 5 continuous light modes: eco/edc→low→medium→high→burst and two flash light modes. This functionality allows you to adjust the lighting to road conditions and enables effective management of the remaining energy reserve. Simple and intuitive operation is a definite advantage for every cyclist, especially in urban areas with heavy traffic.

The flashlight is powered by 2 18650 batteries (not included), which can also be replaced with 4 disposable CR123 batteries. The total operating time of the flashlight depends on the brightness mode used, battery capacity and atmospheric conditions. According to the manufacturer, two Fenix ​​ARB-L18-3500 batteries provide 150 minutes of operation in high mode or nearly 2.5 days of lighting in economical eco/edc mode.

Thanks to the battery level indicator function (LED in the illuminated main switch) and low voltage warning, we can control the flashlight's operation and manage the remaining energy supply. After turning on the flashlight, the indicator informs us about the battery status for 3 seconds.

The flashlight also remembers the last brightness level used (memory function), so after turning it off and on again, the flashlight will shine in the same mode. The low battery warning is activated automatically when the defined voltage level drops (pulsating battery level indicator LED). In turbo mode, the light activates thermal protection to prevent the controller from overheating.

Fenix ​​BC30 V2.0 bicycle flashlight – can be mounted on the handlebar of a bicycle

The set includes a solid mount for the bicycle handlebar and two spacers that prevent the flashlight from twisting and allow it to be adjusted to the size of the handlebar. Installation is very simple and involves tightening one steel screw.
