The new SHIMANO 105 group gives access to the Di2 shifting system to a new group of cyclists. For those who have so far dealt only with mechanical shifting and its ergonomics, the SHIMANO 105 Di2 represents a breakthrough in road riding.

The 12-row drive of the Shimano 105 R7100 group includes m.in. cassette 11-34 and crank mechanism 50-34. Working together, these elements allow you to achieve low (even below 1:1) gear combinations, thanks to which the cyclist can overcome even steeper climbs and better control the effort. Tighter graduation of the cassette allows the cyclist to choose a comfortable cadence for himself in any situation. In addition, the new system is compatible with earlier components, making the existing 11-row hub wheels compatible with the new Shimano 105 Di2 drive.

The Shimano 105 Di2 group uses a hybrid system: the cockpit is free of wires, while a single battery placed in the seat tube is connected by wires to the front and rear derailleurs, which ensures absolute reliability in all conditions. Like DURA-ACE and ULTEGRA, the Shimano 105 Di2 system can be easily adapted to individual needs using the intuitive Shimano E-TUBE PROJECT app on your smartphone.

With the E-TUBE PROJECT, you can adjust the drive to your preference by adjusting the shifting speed, changing the number of gears to a single button press, and using synchronous and semi-synchronous modes.

In addition, the system works with most bicycle computers manufactured by external companies, including m.in. Garmin or Wahoo, which gives you the ability to control the choice of gear ratio or battery level.
