Bicycle tyre 700 x 35, brand TRC, designed for urban riding.
Excellent in terms of quality, durability and safety compared to products with a comparable price.
Model LOUNGER is available in inner tube version, ETRTO 37-622, in black.
The LOUNGER Tire is the perfect choice for anyone who enjoys riding on hard and medium-hard terrain. Its durable rubber compound provides excellent grip on various surfaces, and the specially designed grooves and sipes allow you to navigate challenging sections freely and safely.
The LOUNGER Tire features a robust construction that ensures long life and resistance to damage.
APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES:
PROTECTOR - anti-puncture insert 3 mm
Additional puncture protection to improve tire stiffness and durability. Its use reduces rolling resistance while maintaining good adhesion to the surface. Protector is a rubber insert with a thickness of about 3 mm made of a special compound that is located between the tread and the braid of the tire. Its use significantly extends the life of the tread and improves driving safety.
Technical description: 1) Anti-puncture insert 2) Tread
The anti-puncture insert in the bicycle tyre is a special protective layer placed inside the tyre, constituting its integral part (this IS NOT an anti-puncture protective tape applied to the rim - see photo of the tyre cross-section above).
REFLEX - reflective strip
The reflective strip is placed on the sidewall of the tire and reflects light from the environment, making the cyclist more visible to other road users. This is especially important in low visibility conditions or when the driver is driving towards the setting sun. The use of a reflective strip in bicycle tires provides better visibility and thus increases safety while riding.

THE MOST IMPORTANT ADVANTAGES:
Low rolling resistance – The almost smooth middle part of the tread makes it easier to ride on asphalt, allowing you to drive lighter and faster with less effort.
High durability in its class – solid construction and well-chosen rubber compound ensure a long life of the tire in everyday, urban use.
Stable handling – the right tyre cross-section and tread profile make the bike behave predictably in corners and in wet conditions, which increases comfort and safety.
Timeless design created for city bikes – fits many traditional city bikes and “retro”, allowing you to maintain the original character of the bike while improving riding properties.
Higher visibility after dark - reflective strip on the tire improves the visibility of the bike, increasing safety in road traffic.
Less risk of puncture - anti-puncture insert reduces the frequency of tire defects, reducing the risk of unplanned stops.
WHO IS THE LOUNGER FOR?
For urban users – for daily commuting to work, school, shopping, mainly on asphalt, ankle and bicycle paths.
For people driving on various surfaces – who move not only on smooth asphalt, but also on worse, patched roads and beaten paths.
For owners of classic bicycles – owners of older or stylized city bikes who are looking for a tyre that combines appearance with modern performance parameters.
RECOMMENDED PRESSURE:
min. 345 kPa max. 515 kPa
min. 3,45 BAR max. 5,15 BAR
ADMISSIBLE LOAD:
Maximum load per tyre: 80 kg
Maximum total load per two tyres: 160 kg
NOTE: This model does not have a manufacturer-marked direction of travel - no mounting arrow embossed on the side of the tire. The absence of a factory rotation indication means that the tire can be mounted in any direction, according to the user's preferences.
Please note: This offer is for the tire only (1 piece). The inner tube, valve, and other elements visible in the photos are not included – the images are for instructional/illustrative purposes only.
This tire is also available IN SETS WITH INNER TUBES - different configurations and valve types can be found in our other listings.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT INNER TUBE FOR A BICYCLE TIRE?
SIZE
The inner tube must fit the rim diameter and the tire width range. Search for compatibility in ETRTO and in size inch.
Before installation, pay attention to compatibility: whether your current tyre has an ETRTO designation consistent with the product description and a width within the specified range.
The following markings are on the tyre:
ETRTO - width and diameter in mm, e.g. 28-622
Size in inches – e.g. 29x2.2, 27.5x2.1, 26x2.0
On the inner tube you will also find such information:
The same ETRTO diameter as on the tyre, e.g. 622, 584, 559
Width range, which includes tyre width, e.g. 28-32mm, 700x28/32C, 29x2.1-2.4
The above parameters are placed:
On the side of the tyre – stamped or printed: ETRTO and size in inches
On inner tube packaging – ETRTO + size range in mm/inch
On the old inner tube: print in the valve area
TYPES OF VALVES IN BICYCLE INNER TUBES:
DV (Dunlop) BICYCLE
Rim opening: 8-8,5 mm
Application: urban, children's, trekking
Features: simple design, easy pumping, holds pressure well, not designed for very high pressures
AV (Schrader) CAR
Rim opening: 8-8,5 mm
Application: MTB, electric, urban
Features: works with compressors and pumps at stations, very durable, requires a thicker hole in the rim
FV (Presta) FRENCH
Rim opening: 6-6,5 mm
Application: road, gravel, high-performance MTB
Features: narrow and light, adapted to work at high pressures
ASSEMBLY TIPS AND COMMENTS:
Choose the valve diameter for the rim hole: about 6,5 mm for FV (Presta) and about 8,5 mm for DV/AV.
Choose the length of the valve so that it protrudes at least 15 mm above the rim.
Before installing the inner tube and tire examine the technical condition of the rim – whether there are sharp edges, nipples, edges or damages that require replacing the rim or the entire wheel.
Wipe the inside of the tire and rim.
If a previously used tyre is used to replace the inner tube, check the condition of the sidewalls (cracks, micro-slots), possible bulges or deformations and abrasions of the tire interior; with visible damage, the tire should be replaced, because the risk of subsequent punctures increases significantly.
After inflating the inner tube slightly, when installing, make sure that it is laid without twisting and has not been pressed with a spoon or pressed between the tire foot and the rim; the valve should come out of the rim straight. The tyre should be pumped according to the range given on the side (too low pressure promotes “finishing”, too high threatens to shoot), and while driving avoid strong overruns on sharp curbs and deep holes without relieving the wheel.
It is recommended to use rim tape/protector to minimize the risk of mechanical damage during installation.
Important: Even a properly selected and mounted inner tube is not completely resistant to mechanical damage arising during operation.
The offered bicycle tyres meet the requirements of the REACH regulations. It does not contain hazardous chemicals above the permissible thresholds.
