Bicycle tyre by TRC with ANTI-PUNCTURE INSERT
Bicycle tyre 700 x 40, brand TRC, designed for off-road riding.
Excellent in terms of quality, durability and safety compared to products with a comparable price.
The TREKMAN model is available in tube version, ETRTO 42-622, in black.
Tread TREKMAN is the perfect solution for all lovers of trekking cycling on hard and medium-hard terrain.
Its durable rubber compound provides excellent grip on a variety of surfaces, while specially designed grooves and notches improve water and mud drainage for a safe ride in all conditions.
The TREKMAN Tread also features a durable design, which provides long life and resistance to damage.
Its excellent handling properties make it an ideal choice for anyone who values comfortable and safe trekking cycling.
The bicycle tyre with anti-puncture insert 1mm is an innovative solution for those looking for additional protection while riding. The 1mm thick insert, made of durable material, provides an effective barrier against punctures, reducing the risk of damage to the inner tube by school, nails or other sharp objects.
It is an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy a safe and comfortable ride without worrying about defects!
The anti-puncture insert in the bicycle tyre is a special protective layer placed inside the tyre, constituting its integral part (this IS NOT an anti-puncture protective tape applied to the rim - see: photo of the tyre cross-section above).

THE MOST IMPORTANT ADVANTAGES:
Tread for hard and uneven terrain – the tyre profile holds well on gravel, compacted forest roads and bumpy routes around the city.
Control and stability – the distribution of tread blocks ensures good handling both on straight sections and in corners.
Lower rolling resistance – properly selected mixture allows you to efficiently accelerate the bike and maintain speed.
Increased grip in corners – soft, lateral rubber compound improves traction with stronger inclination of the bike, which gives greater confidence on winding sections.
High durability in everyday driving – resistant rubber compound and solid construction allow the tire to withstand regular use in a variety of terrain for a long time.
Less risk of puncture - the anti-puncture insert reduces the frequency of tyre defects, reducing the risk of unplanned stops.
WHO IS THE TREKMAN FOR?
For people driving both in the city and in the field – on asphalt, gravel, forest paths and uneven roads.
For recreational and trekking cyclists – expecting a comfortable, reliable tyre for longer trips outside the city.
For users who focus on maximum control over the bike – who choose a model with greater grip and stability.
RECOMMENDED PRESSURE:
min. 350 kPa max. 590 kPa
min. 3,5 BAR max. 5,9 BAR
ADMISSIBLE LOAD:
Maximum load per tyre: 70 kg
Maximum total load per two tyres: 140 kg
NOTE: The tyre is directional: on the sidewall of the tyre there is a rotation direction arrow embossed by the manufacturer. When installing the set the tire so that arrow indicates the direction of rolling the wheel forward. The front and rear tyres should be oriented according to this arrow. Reverse assumption can worsen traction and speed up wear.
Please note: This offer is for a single tire only (1 piece). Tubes, valves, and other elements visible in the pictures are not included in this offer. The images are for instructional/illustrative purposes only.
The tyre is also available IN SETS WITH INNER TUBES - various configurations and types of valves can be found at our other auctions.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT INNER TUBE FOR A BICYCLE TIRE?
SIZE
The inner tube must fit the rim diameter and the tire width range. Search for compatibility in ETRTO and in size inch.
Before installation, pay attention to compatibility: whether your current tyre has an ETRTO designation consistent with the product description and a width within the specified range.
The following markings are on the tyre:
ETRTO - width and diameter in mm, e.g. 28-622
Size in inches – e.g. 29x2.2, 27.5x2.1, 26x2.0
On the inner tube you will also find such information:
The same ETRTO diameter as on the tyre, e.g. 622, 584, 559
Width range, which includes tyre width, e.g. 28-32mm, 700x28/32C, 29x2.1-2.4
The above parameters are placed:
On the side of the tyre – stamped or printed: ETRTO and size in inches
On inner tube packaging – ETRTO + size range in mm/inch
On the old inner tube: print in the valve area
TYPES OF VALVES IN BICYCLE INNER TUBES:
DV (Dunlop) BICYCLE
Rim opening: 8-8,5 mm
Application: urban, children's, trekking
Features: simple design, easy pumping, holds pressure well, not designed for very high pressures
AV (Schrader) CAR
Rim opening: 8-8,5 mm
Application: MTB, electric, urban
Features: works with compressors and pumps at stations, very durable, requires a thicker hole in the rim
FV (Presta) FRENCH
Rim opening: 6-6,5 mm
Application: road, gravel, high-performance MTB
Features: narrow and light, adapted to work at high pressures
ASSEMBLY TIPS AND COMMENTS:
Choose the valve diameter for the rim hole: about 6,5 mm for FV (Presta) and about 8,5 mm for DV/AV.
Choose the length of the valve so that it protrudes at least 15 mm above the rim.
Before installing the inner tube and tire examine the technical condition of the rim – whether there are sharp edges, nipples, edges or damages that require replacing the rim or the entire wheel.
Wipe the inside of the tire and rim.
If a previously used tyre is used to replace the inner tube, check the condition of the sidewalls (cracks, micro-slots), possible bulges or deformations and abrasions of the tire interior; with visible damage, the tire should be replaced, because the risk of subsequent punctures increases significantly.
After inflating the inner tube slightly, when installing, make sure that it is laid without twisting and has not been pressed with a spoon or pressed between the tire foot and the rim; the valve should come out of the rim straight. The tyre should be pumped according to the range given on the side (too low pressure promotes “finishing”, too high threatens to shoot), and while driving avoid strong overruns on sharp curbs and deep holes without relieving the wheel.
It is recommended to use rim tape/protector to minimize the risk of mechanical damage during installation.
Important: Even a properly selected and mounted inner tube is not completely resistant to mechanical damage arising during operation.
The offered bicycle tyres meet the requirements of the REACH regulations. It does not contain hazardous chemicals above the permissible thresholds.
