Tests

Before being put into production, panniers and racks are tested by travelers in natural conditions during cycling trips. The solutions used in the products are based on the experience gathered over the years and numerous user opinions.

In addition, the manufacturer conducts tests of stability and durability of panniers and racks under load and on shocks, on the TMSA® (Testing Machine Sport Arsenal) testing device constructed by Sport Arsenal.

All Sport Arsenal racks are made in accordance with ISO 9002.

What is TMSA?

TMSA (Testing Machine Sport Arsenal) is a device designed by Sport Arsenal for testing bicycle panniers and racks. The goal of Sport Arsenal is to determine whether the trunk will certainly withstand the maximum permissible load and where its weakest points are. For this purpose, two types of tests are used: fatigue and destruction. In addition, the TMSA device tests the pannier support systems and their shock behaviour.

Fatigue test:

During the test, the Sport Arsenal racks are loaded to a maximum load capacity of + an additional 5 kg. Within 8 hours, the bike, along with the trunk and iron load, passes the simulated inequality 115200 times, or 4 times per second. The test reveals in advance any design defects and defects in the material. In the event that the product or its prototype does not withstand the test, appropriate changes are made to the technology or material used, after which the test is repeated.

• SNC - for the more demanding. For advanced cycling tourism in a variety of terrain.
• EXPEDICE - the most durable, completely waterproof expedition panniers. Luggage racks of the highest strength.
• W2B - Wrap To Bike. - Bike Packing. Lightweight panniers put directly into the bike, without a trunk. To pack "light". For every bike: both on the road and in difficult terrain.

SNC series - general characteristics and purpose:

Thanks to their high ergonomics, quality and durability, SNC series products are suitable for expeditions in more difficult conditions, lasting from a few days to a week. The racks are made of good quality 6061 aluminum alloys. They present a good weight-to-load ratio. Pouches allow different variants of luggage arrangement, easy access to individual things, and at the same time appropriate weight distribution on the bike. The pouches are made of waterproof PAD material with a good quality PVC layer. Even better protection against getting wet can be obtained by buying a waterproof insert constructed on the basis of a sailing bag or a rain cover.

In short:

• The SNC series is designed for demanding bicycle tourists who move in a variety of terrain (road, gravel, dirt roads, forest roads, etc. ) with a maximum load of up to approx. 35 kg (total front and rear rack).
• main features: modular system, quick, convenient and stable attachment of panniers to the trunk, the ability to adjust the volume according to your needs, compression belts, luggage stability, easy access to luggage.

• It can be used on the rear rack as a single pouch (1 pc. Article 508), in pair (2 pcs. Article 508) or in a set with a top pouch (Article 598).
• Each element of the set can be used independently of the others.
• 3-piece set (2 pcs. 508 + 1 pc. 598) gives a total capacity of 60 liters.
• The pouch can also be used with models from the EXPEDICE series, Articles 312 and 313,
• In addition, the set can be extended with an attachment 508.2 and covers 508.4 or 508.5.
