FEATURES:

The meter operates under microprocessor control, ensuring high measurement accuracy. A specially developed algorithm is used to ensure ease of use and initial auto-calibration after power-on.

The instrument's LCD display shows the measured gas concentration on two scales:

• gas concentration in percent of Lower Explosive Limit (% LEL)
• gas concentration in ppm units.

The instrument uses a high-quality semiconductor sensor, the TGS 2630 from FIGARO, which detects the following gases:

The sensor structure includes a heater that causes rapid evaporation of gas that has entered it during measurement. The sensor's placement on a flexible arm allows for measurements even in hard-to-reach places.

The audible alarm generates sounds with a frequency that changes depending on the gas concentration (higher concentration means a higher pitch). The user can activate a vibration alarm, which is active when the audible signal is heard.

The 4-button keypad allows for intuitive and user-friendly operation of the meter.

The user can utilize many additional functions to facilitate measurements:

• gas type selection
• measurement range (sensitivity) adjustment
• memory of the last measurement results
• selection of the audible alarm threshold (from what ppm the audible signal is active)
• activation of the vibration alarm
• battery voltage reading
• option to turn on a flashlight to illuminate the measurement area
• ability to set a password for device startup.

The meter is powered by 4 AA type rechargeable batteries, 1.2V/2600mAh. They are charged using a charger (included in the set), connected to the meter's power port. We also supply an adapter for charging from a car cigarette lighter socket.

A red LED next to the power port lights up during charging.

Please charge the batteries for 10-12 hours. After charging, the LED does not turn off. There is no risk of "overcharging" as the detector has a built-in current limiting element. The battery temperature rises to safe levels during charging. It is recommended to keep the detector turned off while charging. Fully charged batteries have a total voltage between 5.2 - 5.6 V. When the battery voltage drops to 3.8 V, the device stops working.

• Batteries can be easily replaced with spares.
• Instead of rechargeable batteries, alkaline AA 1.5V batteries can be used - but they must not be charged in the device.
