ICE TECHNOLOGY:

SHIMANO used ICE TECHNOLOGIES discs and ICE TECHNOLOGIES pads for excellent cooling and consistent performance. Plated brake disc consisting of three layers: stainless steel, aluminum and stainless steel guarantees better heat dissipation. The brick also has a heat dissipating rib. The layered disc and heat dissipation ribs extend the life of the pads, reduce noise and brake force loss, and are lightweight.

ONE WAY BLEEDING:

The "ONE WAY BLEEDING" technology is designed to remove air from the hydraulic system quickly and easily. The conduction of oil pipes in the system has been simplified to prevent air bubbles from being trapped in the system.

One-way oil guidance combined with funnel and mineral oil creates an easy and clean venting system.

SERVO WAVE:

When you press the SERVOWAVE brake lever, the initial operation of the cable is quick, so that only a small movement of the lever is necessary to bring the pads into contact with the brake disc. The force-enhancing factor works instantly on the cladding-disc contact, thanks to which a greater lever stroke gives greater braking power with better control.
