Working with the torque wrench isn't complicated:

• First, select the appropriate scale (Nm or in-lbs) and then unlock the micrometer knob. Set it so that the value 0 on the scale aligns with the vertical line on the wrench arm.

• Rotate the knob clockwise until you reach the desired torque. The torque is set when the graduation mark on the knob aligns with the vertical line on the wrench arm.

• Next, lock the micrometer knob and then select the direction of rotation for the ratchet. You can then attach the appropriate socket to the end.

• When tightening, you'll hear a distinct "click" when the desired torque is reached. Stop tightening at that point.

IMPORTANT!

When working at the lower end of the torque range, the precision of the signal may decrease, or the intensity of the signal (the characteristic click) may be less distinct. This can affect very demanding applications. For tasks requiring the highest accuracy at low torque values, we recommend using a tool with a narrower operating range.
