Essential The Beginning large breeds are intended for puppies and juniors who reach a weight of over 15 kg in adulthood. The food has been developed in such a way that it perfectly supports the delicate stage of development in large dogs. LARGE BREEDS feed complies with the manufacturer’s principle of “behavioral food optimization” (BOF) and does not contain any grains.

We recommend using ESSENTIAL THE BEGINNING LARGE BREED until 12-18 months.

BOF principle:

Behavioral food optimization (BOF) is the principle of developing food in such a way that it fits into the dog's natural diet. Essential food ensures the stability of sugar levels in the dog's body. The high level of fresh meat stimulates animal instincts. The low temperature of the food preparation means that the dog receives the best nutritional values. Berries, seeds and herbs mimic the contents of the victim’s stomach. The size and consistency of the food ensure that the meal is chewed before it is swallowed.

Our carefully selected ingredients:

• Duck - all our ducks come from responsible sources and all come from the free range. Duck meat is a rich source of vitamins and minerals, as well as healthy, essential fats like Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.
• Chicken - comes from a responsible farm in the UK. All the chickens are free range. Chicken is a lean source of protein rich in essential amino acids. It is also a good source of vitamins and minerals, including B vitamins and iron.
• Atlantic salmon - living in a responsible Scottish kennel. Unique source of Omega-3 (DHA and EPA). Naturally rich in essential Omega-3 fatty acids, which have anti-inflammatory properties. ESSENTIALS contains all three sources of Omega-3: ALA, DHA and EPA.
• Trout - obtained mainly from the UK, is a natural source of essential Omega-3 fatty acids.

Manufacturer's advice:

• The first bag of Essential Foods will be an introduction to a great diet and lifestyle change for your dog. The feed can be introduced gradually 4-7 days, or from the first day. In the first week it is possible to increase flatulence. This is related to the adaptation of the dog to change the diet and this is completely normal. This week, the size of the dog's stool will remain the same, while the stool may be slightly looser.
• storage method: we recommend using a food container. The food should be stored in a cool, dry place (5-18°C), away from direct sunlight and in an airtight container. Thanks to this, the last meal tastes as good as the first.
• Advice for picky puppies: in our experience, most puppies can not resist the taste of Essential. However, it may happen that the dog does not finish his meal. This is not due to the taste, but the fact that Essential gives a greater sense of fullness, which the puppy will get used to over time. If the puppy has particularly picky taste, then you should try to pour a meal with a little heated water. Alternatively, you can mix 1-2 tablespoons of Omega 3 oil, for example, by Essential.

Remember to provide your dog with constant access to fresh drinking water.
