How to choose a semi-clamp size?
Measurement of the neck? Fine, but the key is... the head!
The semi-clamp collar passes through the head, so measure the widest point – usually above the ears.
Step by step:
- Measure the circumference of the dog's head at the widest point (above the ears / forehead).
- Check if the maximum circumference of the collar fits – it must pass freely.
- Also measure the neck – the collar should not slide off it after putting it on.
💡 Leave some slack – two fingers between the neck and collar = comfort + control.
No squeeze, no drama – just a safe vibe.
How to read the table?
1 Width of tape
→ Bigger dog = wider collar. Easy! All for comfort and safety – without squeezing or digging into the neck.
2 Circuit (min.–max.)
→ This is the semi-clamp adjustment range.
Maximum value – must pass freely through the dog’s head (above the ears).
Minimum value – how much the collar tightens around the neck (it cannot be too tight or too loose).
Tip: Measure the circumference of the head and neck, then choose the size so that the head fits into max and the neck is in the middle of the range.
