SGW is a special box that disables the ability to perform diagnostics in the car without service authorization.
By using my SGW Bypass adapter, we will be able to perform diagnostics through any interface from ELM 327 for PLN 30 to service or universal testers such as Delphi, Multidiag, Autel, Launch, Texa, etc.
The location of the SGW module is usually under the OBD2 connector or under the radio, or under the center console, or under the container in the center console. YouTube SGW plus data car has videos where a given module is located, or forums dedicated to a given group. .
12+8 cable adapter connection method:
1. Locate and disconnect the 12pin and 8PIN connectors of the SGW module.
2. Then connect the FCA 12+8 directly to the 12pin and 8pin connector (two connectors connected to SGW) in the car.
3. At this point, normal communication with the car can be achieved.
The adapter is manufactured by me, under my brand CF , which is a registered trademark in the European Union.
The adapter has special grooves in the housing that guarantee the correct size and easy connection to the connector in the machine , and not every adapter sold on Allegro has them!
My adapters are properly soldered and all modules connect without any problems .
