The ELM327 V1.5 (PIC18F25K80 chip) turns your smartphone or laptop into a full-fledged OBD-II tester.

It connects exclusively via Wi-Fi (iOS/Android/Windows), reads and deletes “Check Engine” errors, shows LIVE data, saves driving logs and works with popular applications: Torque, Car Scanner, OBD Auto Doctor, DashCommand.

Supports OBD-II protocols 1.0 - 1.4.

Operating Instructions

Install the application.

On your phone, install OBD: on Android e.g. TORQUE (Google Play) or OBD Car Doctor / DashCommand; on iOS, search for the appropriate app on the App Store.

• Connect the ELM327 to the OBD-II socket in the car.

  It is usually under the steering wheel, next to the handbrake (see photo). After plugging in, the LED on the ELM327 should light up. If it does not light up – check the power supply/fuse. Note: in some cars, the socket has a fixed 12 V, so disconnect the adapter when you are done driving.

• Connect your phone to your device.

• Wi-Fi: Settings → Wi-Fi → select the network "OBDII/OBD2" (usually without a password).

• Bluetooth: Settings → Bluetooth → pair the device "OBDII"; pairing code 1234.

• Configure the application and read the data.

• OBD Car Doctor: select the connection type (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi), click "Link/Connect". After connection, you can read the parameters (RPM, speed, temp. e.t.c. ).

• TORQUE: Settings → OBD adapter settings → point to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and select your device. Return to the application – the connection will be established automatically and the data will be read.

AP mode

– the phone connects directly to the adapter (without router).

Export CSV

– easy analysis of combustion and driving parameters.
