The universal diagnostic interface Vgate iCar2 Bluetooth 3.0 enables wireless diagnostics of vehicles equipped with a standard OBD2 connector. The device connects to Android and Windows operating systems via Bluetooth 3.0. The interface is powered directly from the vehicle OBD2 socket.

Key features and features:

• Vehicle compatibility: The interface is a universal tester that works with most OBD2/EOBD compliant car models. This applies to petrol cars in Europe since 2001 and diesel cars in Europe since 2004. The device supports OBD-II protocols (including CAN, KWP2000, ISO9141-2, J1850 PWM/VPW).
• Automatic sleep mode: After 30 minutes of inactivity (from engine shutdown), the interface goes into sleep mode, which prevents the vehicle battery from being discharged. The device can remain permanently connected to the socket.
• Connection stability: The Bluetooth 3.0 module provides a stable wireless connection.
• Software version: The interface uses firmware in the ELM327 version 2.2+ standard, which ensures wide compatibility with diagnostic applications.
• Compact dimensions: Small housing (approx. 5 x 3 x 3 cm) makes it easy to install and use.

Diagnostic capabilities (in combination with the appropriate application):

• Reading and erasing generic and manufacturer-specific OBD-II (DTC) error codes.
• Delete the "CHECK ENGINE" (MIL) control.
• Reading pending and registered error codes.
• Preview of frozen data frames (Freeze Frames).
• Real-time monitoring of engine operating parameters (Live Data), such as rotational speed, coolant temperature, pressure, throttle position, lambda probe parameters.
• Measurement of parameters, including estimated engine power (HP) or acceleration time (e.g. 0-100 km/h).
• Checking the meaning of error codes.

Restrictions:

The device is designed for diagnostics of systems related to exhaust emissions (OBD2). Not supports reading or erasing errors of safety systems such as airbags, ABS, ESP, or seat belts. It is not compatible with trucks or 24V systems.
