The Dexcom G6 transmitter/transmitter is part of the Dexcom G6 continuous glycemic monitoring (CGM) system. The transmitter transmits glucose level information from the sensor to the display device. The G6 system is an RT system that sends data in real time - it does not require calibration1, it has editable alarms and the ability to share information about the glucose level even the next 52.

• Long-lasting sensor - approved for operation for 10 days.
• Paracetamol blocking - Dexcom G6 sensor blocks clinically relevant effects of paracetamol on outcomes3
• Simple sensor input with an automatic applicator4 - just press the button to enter the sensor.
• Warning 55 mg/dL in 20 minutes - predictive warning of potentially severe hypoglycaemia (55 mg/dL) triggered 20 minutes in advance.
• Two warning schedules - warnings can be set differently for two time intervals (e.g. night and day).
