THE INDIVIDUAL COLORS ON THE SCALE MEAN :

Blue color - coating with a thickness of 0,0 to 100 microns – thin lacquer coating (lacquer laid without primer or repeatedly polished)

Green color- coating with a thickness of 100 to 200 microns for original varnishes. Note ; in newer car models , a thickness of 180 microns may indicate a thin layer of the second paint .

Yellow- coating with a thickness of 200 to 300 microns - after paint repairs ('second varnish').

Red color- coating with a thickness of 300 to 520 microns – surface after bodywork repairs + second varnish .

Black

- coating with a thickness of 520 to 750 microns – putty and varnished surface

( amount of putty about 0,5 mm ).

1. Question ; Is the measurement accurate ?

Answer; Each measurement should be carried out at the same speed not quickly, the tester during the measurement should be held by the yellow tip. After gaining experience in using the tester, we can measure with an accuracy of 10 microns . Our testers are among the most accurate on the market.

2. Question ; Are testers disposable ?

Answer ; No . Testers can be used for many years , they are trouble-free just take care of their cleanliness and after each measurement put on a plug.

3. Question ; Are there frequent cases of tester failure?

Answer: No. Most often, users themselves damage the tester, because they disassemble, look inside and tear the Teflon cover from the magnet.

4. Question ; Does the tester damage the paint during measurement ?

Answer: Not . The tester tip is round and polished or with a flat magnet with Teflon cover. The housing also does not damage the varnish, because during the measurement there is no contact with the varnish (you can check it on the animation video that we present on the website). The tester can scratch the varnish only if there is dust, sand or iron filings between the magnet and the varnish and during this time we will move the tester over the varnish. We did a lot of research checking whether our testers were drawing varnish, but we did not find it and no one reported such a problem to us.

5. Question: I bought a set of two testers and both testers got dirty with iron filings, now I have a problem with removing filings. How do I remove this dirt?

Answer ; To remove dirt with filings or other materials, take a piece of adhesive tape and apply the tape several times to the magnet on the side where the glue is located . Firmly press down so that any dirt sticks to the adhesive tape. Remember to put the plug on each time after the measurement is completed, the hermetic plug prevents these problems. Please be advised that only our testers have airtight plugs that do not allow water and dirt during storage.

6. Question ; After determining that the advantages of your testers are not true, can you give away the testers? or maybe it's just an advertising stunt?

Answer ; We do not use any advertising tricks in the descriptions , because every buyer has the right to return when he does not like it . We inform about this possibility below , each buyer is informed on the websites or when buying it .

7. Question ; Why do the testers you produce have flat or spherical magnets ? Does it matter?

Answer; Flat magnet testers with Teflon cover are manufactured for a small group of customers who are supporters of this type of testers.

Testers with spherical magnets are produced because they have many advantages;

a) you do not have to try to apply the tester exactly perpendicularly to the test surface, because the tester automatically sets perpendicular to the surface, just hold the yellow tip of the tester!!!
