SuperCruise™ - Continuous recording of high-volume data, as in the case of video recording, can result in a sudden drop in performance or a break in recording. Exascend technology eliminates this problem, guaranteeing unparalleled stability even in the most demanding applications. Unlike many systems of competing brands, whose performance is maintained only at the initial stage of recording, the unique SuperCruise™ algorithm is responsible for ensuring that the parameters of the data carrier are maintained until the work is completed.
RAID ECC (Error-Correcting Code) – a combination of two advanced data protection technologies. It allows you to detect and correct errors that may occur during data transmission on two levels, both through storage in multiple flash memory blocks by RAID5, as well as an additional ECC algorithm. This allows you to recover even severely corrupted data. In addition, the technology improves system performance and extends the life of SSDs.
Adaptive Thermal Control™ – otherwise adaptive thermal control that avoids overheating of the card. This innovative technology from Exascend is based on a patented adaptive algorithm that precisely adapts to environmental conditions. It constantly monitors and adjusts the overall performance of the drive during operation – when the temperature rises, the algorithm slightly reduces the efficiency to increase it again when the temperature drops. Afterburner™ - an innovative Exascend solution that enables faster data writing and reading, thanks to the use of SLC cache. SSDs are characterized by slower writes, which results directly from the characteristics of NAND flash memory, in which saving data requires deleting existing information in the target memory unit. Afterburner™ allocates segments of NAND memory units to work in SLC mode and only then methodically transfers them to other storage sectors. SLC cache allows you to store individual bits of data, making it considered the most efficient and reliable – its mode of operation significantly speeds up the saving and erasure processes, ensuring an optimal balance between performance and service life. What’s more, Afterburner™ technology automatically transfers data from the SLC cache to 3D TLC NAND flash memory without affecting performance. In the context of regular use, the use of Afteburner™ facilitates the effective management of daily write operations by SSDs.
Data Retention Plus™ - SSDs store data in NAND flash memory cells, which is characterized by a limited number of write and reset cycles. Over time, cells become damaged, which becomes apparent during overheating (higher voltage) or during an extended write-and-zero cycle – but this process can be slowed down by controlling that cells are consumed evenly. The algorithm developed by Exascend allows you to dynamically refresh data stored on flash memory devices, taking into account the current state of memory. Disk consumption becomes more even and data is properly secured. Even at maximum workloads, this reduces the risk of data integrity loss resulting from natural flash memory degradation.
Smartstream™ - a unique Exascend technology that allows for seamless handling of continuous shooting and longer recording on the same card, balancing performance and optimal battery consumption. Smartstream™ analyzes the current pattern of data storage in NAND flash memory, enabling you to choose the optimal clock frequency for your SSD processor. Conformal Coating – conformal coating technology that increases the card’s resistance to external hazards such as dust and moisture.
