Aphid Stopwatch - 200 ladybug larvae - is an effective and completely natural way to protect plants from aphids. Aphid Stopwatch is a product containing adorable colons (Adalia bipunctata). The larvae actively search for and eat aphids, and after pupation, adult ladybugs continue to protect the plants, providing a long-lasting effect. One larva can destroy up to several hundred individuals of the pest, thanks to which they effectively protect plants without the use of chemicals.

✅ How to prepare a product after receiving the shipment:

✔ After receiving the shipment, gently pour the contents of the larvae sachet into the attached small carton. And then hang it on a plant with pests or scatter the product directly around the plant.

Ants can limit the effectiveness of larvae because they protect aphid colonies. For best results, it is recommended to limit their presence near plants.

✅ Instructions for storage:

After receipt of the product, remove the packaging from the insulating transport packaging. It is recommended to use the product as soon as possible after receipt. If you want to store the bag after receiving it, you can do it maximum for 1 day in a dark and airy place at 12-14°C. Do not refrigerate.

How does Aphid Stopper work?

The product contains live ladybug larvae (Adalia bipunctata), which are a natural and extremely voracious enemy of aphids. One larva can eat up to several hundred pests in a matter of weeks before it turns into a pupa. After pupation, adult ladybugs still remain on the plants, providing long-lasting and fully ecological protection without the use of chemicals.

How large is one package enough for?

A package containing 100 larvae is designed to protect about 5 plants or an area of up to 5 m² of cultivation. It works perfectly in home gardens, greenhouses, as well as in the care of plants on balconies and terraces. This number allows for effective point control of newly formed pest colonies, especially on young leaves and shoots.

How should larvae be applied to plants?

After receiving the package, gently pour the contents of the sachet into the included small application carton, and then hang it directly on the affected plant. You can also sprinkle the larvae directly onto shoots and leaves near aphid clusters, while avoiding full sun. Remember not to rinse plants with water after application, which will give insects time to settle freely.

How to store the product properly before use?

Due to the fact that the product contains living organisms, it is recommended to apply it immediately after receiving the shipment. If you need to delay this process for a while, you can store the sachet for a maximum of 1 day in a dark and airy place at 12-14°C. You should absolutely not put the product in the refrigerator.

When and under what conditions is it best to use the preparation?

You will get the best results by introducing larvae immediately after noticing the first aphids before their population increases excessively. The optimal air temperature conducive to insect activity is from 15 to 30°C. Avoid releasing larvae during heavy rain and during strong, direct sunlight that could harm them.
