If you are looking for natural cleaning products that are as effective as their chemical counterparts, and friendly to humans and the environment, try a versatile remedy such as borax. It is a mineral naturally occurring in dried salt lakes and coastal riverbeds.

Sodium tetraborate, sodium tetraborate or simply borax is one of the irreplaceable and multifunctional ecological products in the household. It will successfully replace many special-purpose agents containing harmful additives, often causing allergies and skin problems.

As Hulda Clark – a certified biologist, biophysicist, physiology doctor – mentions in her books, borax can be used to wash and clean everything (body, clothing, dishes and home), because pure borax is suitable for everything (Hulda Clark, “Dr. Clark’s Recipes and Health Advice”).

✔ Laundry Borax – removes stains whitens and softens fabrics

Borax perfectly softens and removes even the largest dirt, without causing damage to fabrics. It can handle greasy stains and strong colors (wine, tea, coffee, juices, etc. ). It will work as a laundry detergent for both colored and white fabrics. It softens water and makes fabrics cleaner and fresher.

Borax has antifungal, antiseptic and antiviral and antibacterial properties, thanks to which it can also be used for washing underwear – it protects the skin and intimate places from infections and at the same time does not cause the destruction of natural bacterial flora.

• Stain removal: Dissolve 1 tablespoon of borax in 3 l of water and soak for 30 minutes. Then the fabric should be washed.
• Machine wash – a handful of borax should be poured into the powder chamber – depending on the capacity of the washing machine and the amount of washing, this amount should be reduced or increased

✔ Borax for washing dishes

According to Hulda Clark, 2 teaspoons of borax should be used for washing dishes in the dishwasher. If you add too much of it, there will be sediment on the dishes. When rinsing dishes, a little vinegar should be added to the water.

✔ Use of borax at home

• universal cleaner: 1 tablespoon of borax per 1 l of water and 1/2 cup of vinegar – wash the surface thoroughly (tiles, floors, windows, mirrors, etc. )
• descaling: 1 tablespoon of borax per 1 l of water – wash the surface with stone thoroughly
• removal of mold from tiles or disinfection: 1 tablespoon of borax per 2 l of water – thoroughly wash areas covered by mold or fungi
• cleaning the sink, bath, sink, tile: 1 cup of borax and 1/4 cup of water – spread the paste on the cleaned surface and leave for 15 minutes, after this time wash it with hot water, citric acid can be added to the paste
• removal of greasy deposits: 1 tablespoon of borax per 1,5 l of water – soak for a few minutes and then wash thoroughly
• clearing pipes: pour 1/2 cup of borax into the drain and pour 2 cups of hot water
• pest control: 1 tablespoon of borax per 2 liters of water – spray the places where insects are present with the given solution or places where insects appear sprinkle with dry borax and after a few hours thoroughly vacuum
• weed control: 1 tablespoon of borax per 2 liters of water – spray weeds
• to remove unpleasant odors: pour a little borax into the refrigerator, litter box, trash can or other container or wash with a solution of borax and water

Storage: Store in a tightly closed container in a dry and cool place out of reach of children.

Attention! It is irritating to the eyes. When using protective gloves, protective clothing, face and eye protection. Avoid contact with eyes, skin. If it gets into your eyes, rinse carefully with water for a few minutes. Remove contact lenses and continue to rinse your eyes with water. In case of further irritating effects, see a doctor.
