Borax belongs to the group of inorganic chemical compounds. It comes in the form of fine, colorless crystals that dissolve well in water. It is a compound that can be found in natural conditions in the form of a mineral – tinkalu, mainly in desert regions of the world.
In the household borax is most often used as a component of powders, pastes and washing liquids with a wide range of applications. It is safe for the environment. When using it, rubber gloves should be worn, contact with eyes and skin should be avoided and kept out of reach of children and animals.

Universal cleaner - mix 1/2 cup vinegar and 2 tablespoons borax (or 1/4 cup baking soda) with 2 liters of water. You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. . The resulting agent effectively removes sediment from the water on washbasin faucets. We use it to clean chrome elements, windows, mirrors, walls, washable wallpaper, etc.
Stain removal – prepare a solution from 1 heaping tablespoon of borax and 4 l of water, in which we soak the stained fabric approx. 30 minutes, then wash as usual.
