The AP310i is based on the new System-on-a-Chip (SoC) system with two built-in 2x2 dual-band radio modules, providing the best value for money and high Wi-Fi 6 performance. Offered at a price that is tailored to the mass market, this enterprise-class access point is ideal for businesses on a budget that don't want to sacrifice performance. While other vendors may limit features and functionality, the AP310i retains all the capabilities of higher-end access points, including a software-defined antenna (SSR). Data transfer rates of 802.11ax up to 2,4 Gbps are available simultaneously in the 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The AP310i also provides the flexibility to simultaneously deliver the same data rates across two 5 GHz channels with 5 GHz dual SSR technology.

Despite exponential growth in the number of users, BYOD devices, the Internet of Things, high-bandwidth applications and security threats burdening the infrastructure, the AP310i combines performance, security services and insightful ML/AI management capabilities to provide an enterprise-class solution at an affordable price.

Integrated BLE and Zigbee

To support both IoT and Ghost Engagement services, the AP310i integrates Bluetooth, enabling connectivity to IoT devices with Thread Wireless technology or interacting with loyalty program clients using Apple iBeacon 1. Enterprises can use Google Eddystone to send ads directly to buyers, guests and conference attendees. It’s ideal for businesses to advertise app download pages, authorization portals, or location-specific information.

Management Analytics

Combined with a management system, whether in the cloud or on premises, the AP310i offers a very rich set of data displayed through contextual widgets, representing historical data or a combination of historical and current data. This provides detailed contextual analysis with perspective views for location, network, access points, individual client devices and policy roles. In any context, admins can customize dashboards from the widget library.

Programmable radio

Extreme has launched the industry’s first 802.11ax programmable access point, supporting not only two 5 GHz bands, but also three programmable modes, allowing you to optimally manage your radios and provide customers with the highest performance. Intelligent monitoring of programmable radios AP310i enables network administrators to configure RF topology based on user environment and configure access points in different modes, depending on needs.

Radio frequency monitoring

Network managers will appreciate the wide selection of radio frequency management (RF) options in their Wi-Fi networks, thanks to adaptive radio frequency management (RF) with functionality similar to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Adaptive RF algorithms provide intelligent selection of the best channels and transmitting power, ensuring uninterrupted operation in two 5 GHz bands. Load balancing, bandwidth control and many other radio frequency functions can be automated.

Security

The AP310i/e provides the highest level of security, starting with support for the latest Wi-Fi Alliance WPA3 security certifications. Additionally, it supports L2-L7 DPI firewall with stateful functionality for context-based access security.
