DrayTek Vigor AP902 is an Access Point operating in the IEEE 802.11ac standard. The ac standard allows you to increase the range, data bandwidth and reduce the amount of so-called. blind spots. 802.11ac is compliant with the existing IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards. The implemented AP gives the opportunity to create do 4 independent wireless subnets - 4xSSID. It also has the ability to connect external antennas via SMA connectors. The built-in 5-port switch (10/100/1000 Mbps) with Rate Control (bandwidth limiting) is a valuable tool for shaping the flow of traffic on the local network, and the local dual DHCP server allows you to assign specific users the right IP addresses. An additional advantage is the possibility of powering the AP900 via PoE, thanks to one of the ports. Operating modes:

• AP - allows wireless clients to connect to Access Point
• Station-Infrastructure - allows you to connect the device using the Ethernet port to the AP and work in wireless client mode.
• AP Bridge Point-to-Point - allows you to establish a wireless connection to another Access Point operating in Bridge mode and transfer data between wired devices. Only one Access Point can be connected in this mode.
• AP Bridge Point-Multipoint - allows you to establish a wireless connection with other Acces Points operating in Bridge mode and transfer data between wired devices. Up to 4 Access Points can be connected in this mode.
• AP Bridge WDS - This mode is similar to AP Bridge Point-to-Multipoint except that in addition, wireless clients can connect wirelessly to Access Point.
• Universal Repeater - allows you to extend your wireless network. Access Point works in Station and AP mode at the same time.
