Klipsch Gallery™ G-17 Air is one of the most advanced products in the company’s history. Together, designers and engineers have created a stunning new music system with the legendary Klipsch sound, never coming to terms with the elsewhere typical approach to product development referred to as “they’re good enough” and have created the Gallery™ G-17 Air, which gives the user a real promotion in style, technology and sound.

Wireless audio system with APPLE AirPlay® or DLNA technology

Using your home wireless Wi-Fi network, you can now listen to the highest quality audio from your iPod®, iPhone® or iPad® with iOS 4.2. You can download Internet radio stations from iTunes®, audio from your Mac or PC and additionally listen to them simultaneously in multiple G-17 Airs spaced in all rooms. It is a very easy way to create an audio system that covers the entire house.

Klipsch G-17 Air is also compatible with smartphones and tablets running on Android. In addition, the speaker has a USB input that supports directly connected Apple devices and a traditional analog input implemented on a 3.5 mm socket.

The elegant, injection-molded polymer curved front wall not only contributes to the attractive appearance of the whole, but also allows you to minimize the resonances of the housing. The whole is finished with high gloss piano lacquer.

One system – 4 amplifiers

To offer the absolute highest sound quality, the G-17 Air is equipped with four amplifiers operating in a Bi-amp configuration. Amplifiers after 10W are designed for tweeters, while woofers drive amplifiers after 20W.

The housing and transducers working in the G-17 Air are the same as in the other loudspeakers of the series. The patented TRACTRIX® HORN technology was used to reproduce the highest tones. It uses a square tube with a sound radiation angle of 90° x 90°, in which an aluminum dome with a diameter of 0,75” (19mm) works. The reproduced sound is stably spread and dynamic regardless of whether the loudspeaker is placed horizontally or vertically. The tweeter also uses Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) technology, thanks to which the membrane moves without compression offering precise, detailed and smooth highs beyond the limits of human hearing.

Transducers with very rigid diaphragms with a diameter of 6.35 cm made of high pressure modelled graphite (IMG) were used as midrange speakers. The transducers are adapted to a large pitch diaphragm driven by large diameter magnets.

The columns of the “Gallery” line are equipped with thin protective grills (only half as thick as a credit card), without a frame and completely “acoustic transparent”. The G-17 Air can be easily hung on a wall or placed on a glass base. Comes with a remote control that supports Apple devices.
