Households play a very important role in contributing to reuse and recovery, including recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

Pursuant to Article 36 of the WEEE Act, the user of household appliances is obliged to return the WEEE at a specially designated place. Products belonging to the group of electrical and electronic equipment should be returned only in designated places, e.g.:

• at local collection points for waste equipment (according to contact information published i.a. on the websites of the municipality,
• in waste equipment processing plants,
• in places of sale of similar equipment (such as our stores), when buying a new device and provided that the device is of the same type as the returned WEEE.

In this way, each of us can participate in the process of reusing raw materials and support the WEEE waste recycling program, which can have an impact on the environment and public health.
