Description of button functions – Smart-Trend ST-GM1600R
✔ 1 (scroll wheel) Allows you to scroll through websites and documents. Clicking the roll acts as a third button (e.g. opening links in a new tab).
✔ 2 (right button) Opens the context menu – quick access to additional options (e.g. copy, properties).

- Smart-Trend ST-GM1600R (2.4GHz)✔ Step 1: Connect the USB receiver Insert the included nano USB receiver into the USB port on your computer (laptop or PC). ✔ Step 2: Turn on the mouse Move the ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the mouse to the ON position – the device will automatically go into pairing mode. ✔ Step 3: Automatic connection The mouse should automatically connect to the receiver within seconds (Plug & Play technology). No drivers or installations are required. ✔ Step 4 (optional): Charge the mouse before first use Connect the USB cable to the mouse and power source (e.g. USB port of computer or 5V charger). When charging, the LED can light up.Additional information:
- The mouse remembers the paired device – you do not need to pair it again after restarting.
- If the mouse does not respond: disconnect and reconnect the USB receiver, or charge the battery.
- Operating range up to 10 meters.
Here are the steps you can take to resolve the pairing issue
✔ 1. Verify that the mouse is turned on Make sure that the switch on the bottom of the mouse is set to ON.
✔ 2. Connect the mouse to the power source (computer USB port, 5V charger). If the battery is discharged, the device will not connect to the receiver.
✔ 3. Make sure the USB receiver is properly connected Remove and re-insert the nano receiver into another USB port on your computer. It is recommended to use the port directly on the motherboard (not via USB hub).
✔ 4. Wait a few seconds after connecting the receiver The system may need a few seconds to automatically detect the device.
✔ 5. Restart your computer Sometimes a reboot of your operating system fixes a problem with device initialization.
✔ 6. Check on another computer If the mouse does not work despite the correct connection, test it on another device – this may indicate whether the problem concerns the mouse or computer.
✔ 7. Disconnect the receiver, turn off the mouse, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on and reconnect the USB receiver.
