It offers a Mac layout while remaining compatible with Windows. It stands out in the market, providing the same multimedia features and function keys as Apple keyboards for Mac users, but with improved tactile feedback.

In addition, you can configure different key maps for Mac and Windows devices using the Keychron Launcher web application. The keyboard includes keycaps for both macOS and Windows, along with additional esc and enter keys, making it easy to seamlessly switch between operating systems.

To further refine your typing experience, the K8 Max keyboard is equipped with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical angle) and PBT Double Shot keycaps, which are designed to provide a more comfortable touch of your fingertips and excellent oil resistance during long-term use in a timeless keyboard-free layout.

Stabilizers screwed into PCB

Even a small element is important for the feel of the fingers. We have integrated screw-in stabilizers mounted on the circuit board to provide smoother typing with less wobble on large keys such as space bar, shift, enter and delete. Keychron K8 Max also supports screw-in PCB stabilizers from other manufacturers.

White LED backlight facing south

The south-facing LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight for the person writing. The south-facing LED is also interference-free when the user installs alternative Cherry profile keycaps on their keyboard.

The set includes over 22 types of backlight settings. You can easily tune the shade, saturation, brightness and speed of the effect.
