Since we cannot listen to music as a digital signal, digital music must be converted to analog signals before playing. To do this, we need to use a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). However, most Bluetooth speakers do not come with a dedicated digital-to-analog converter and only use the one built into the Bluetooth chip. As a result, there is an important limit to the sound quality we can achieve.
