Braun BNT400 is a non-contact infrared thermometer designed to measure temperature on the forehead. Thanks to the combination of contactless and tactile technology, measurements can be taken directly at the forehead or from a distance of about 2 cm.

The device measures in about 2 seconds, and the positioning system helps to position the thermometer at the right distance and position relative to the forehead. The model also uses Age Precision® technology, which helps interpret the measurement result depending on the age of the user.

👶 Non-contact measurement

The thermometer can measure without having to touch the skin. In touchless mode, the device should be placed about 2 cm in front of the forehead.

The positioning system helps to set the right distance from the forehead, which is important for the correct measurement.

👆 Touch mode

BNT400 also allows you to take a measurement in contact mode – by applying a thermometer to the forehead. Thanks to this, the device can be used in different ways depending on the situation.

🎯 Age Precision® Technology

Age Precision® technology has been developed for easier interpretation of the temperature result.

The thermometer can be used by the whole family, and the Braun solution helps to take into account the age of the person when assessing the temperature. This is especially useful when measuring in young children.

🌡 Measurement of body temperature and surface

Braun BNT400 offers two basic measurement modes:

• body temperature,
• surface temperature.

Surface temperature mode can be used e.g. to check the temperature of objects, liquids or food.

📏 Precise measurement

The thermometer uses a sensitive infrared sensor and an optical system that records the heat energy emitted by the body and converts it into a temperature result.

According to the product data sheet, the range of body temperature measurement is 34 – 43°C, and the declared resolution/accuracy of the indication is 0,1°C.

🤫 Quiet mode

The BNT400 is also designed to take measurements without waking the baby. Silent mode limits sound signals when using the device.

🔋 Battery powered

The thermometer is powered by 2 1,5 V batteries. The batteries are included, so your device is ready to use without having to buy power.

The device also has an automatic shutdown function after about 30 seconds, which helps reduce battery consumption.
